Hanna Haapamäki

Hanna Haapamäki is an active and enthusiastic musician who has appeared both as a soloist and in numerous early music ensembles and orchestras. She studied with Rabbe Forsman at the Sibelius Academy, with Petra Aminoff at Stadia University of Applied Sciences, and with Saskia Coolen and Jed Wentz at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
Hanna is a member of the Baccano Baroque ensemble and the Bravade recorder quartet and also plays recorder and traverso with the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra and Espoo baroque. She has appeared at many music festivals in Finland and abroad. Her special interests include children’s concerts: she has toured schools and daycare centres, introducing children to the recorder, baroque flute and to Baroque music.
Hanna also teaches the recorder at the Avonia music institute.
